Both schools in the Kite Primary Federation enjoyed success at the Sporthall Athletics event organised and run by Tuxford Academy. The event brought together a number of primary schools and children that will feed into Tuxford Academy for their secondary education. The children were split into mixed groups for the first hour, and enjoyed meeting and working with pupils from other small schools that will eventually all move to Tuxford Academy.
for the second hour, children returned to their school groups to compete in a number of events. We are delighted to report that our schools took the top 2 places, with St. Matthews finishing in 1st Place, narrowly ahead of Norwell in 2nd position.
We would like to congratulate everyone who took part and represented our schools so well, and thank the staff and young leaders from Tuxford for staging the event.
