Time Travelling at Southwell Minster

Children in year 5 and 6 enjoyed their day at Southwell Minster, learning about Prayer and Pilgrimage,
with a focus on ‘travelling, learning and connecting’.
The children looked at different aspects of the minster and what they teach us about the role of the minster through the ages.
We also took the opportunity to look at the ‘Stations of the Cross’, depicted in sculpture at the minster, to re-enforce the learning we had been covering in school.
