The children enjoyed coming to school as their favourite character from a book and participating in activities. In Class 1 there were George’s Marvellous Medicine related activities for the children to complete, such as designing potion bottles and adding ingredients to the class saucepan.
The afternoon was spent decorating potato characters and then our World Book Day cafe which gave the children the opportunity to decorate a cupcake with ingredients just like George (but tasty things this time!).
What a fantastic day! Thank you for all the volunteers and to the parents for contributing and getting stuck in! The children had a great time!
