We officially launched the Federation here in school on Monday. It was an exciting day as all the children made a kite which we took outside and flew together. The Newark Advertiser came to both school sites and photographed the children and will run an article on the Federation and what we hope it will mean for both of our schools. We shared the idea of the kite with the children and they felt that the kite was a good choice as it meant going “above and beyond”, “aiming high” and they all thought it was a symbol of “fun”. We had a kite cake at each school and we sang our favourite Bruno Mars song at both events. We look forward working together into the future.
