Pupils in Norwell have marked remembrance day by all painting poppies to display outside the school. Our year 3 and 4 pupils also produced lovely silhouette artwork and poetry to accompany the poppies. A number of the children chose to read their poems in a short service around the war memorial at St. Laurence church, whilst our year 5 and 6 pupils placed wooden crosses in the ground to remember the 15 people from Norwell and Norwell Woodhouse who sadly lost their lives fighting for their country during the two world wars and the war in Malaya.
