Remembrance Day 2020

This year’s Remembrance Day was different for us all but just as important for the children to help them remember people who had made huge sacrifices in their lives.
The Primary Kite Federation took part in the ‘Poppy Run’ and had their own Just Giving page to help raise money for The British Legion. We raised a wonderful £204 between the two schools.
The children took time out to reflect on the significance of the day during their Collective Worship and then took part in 11 laps to commemorate the date. They also created some lovely art work and poems and covered the altar with poppies painted onto log pieces.
