Anticipation was running high in school as we all waited to unveil our World Book Day Costumes. Families had obviously put in so much effort it was really difficult to select the winner for the World Book Day costume.The queue for the cream teas showed how tasty the fruit scones and biscuits were which the children had made especially for the event. The hall was packed with book characters everywhere and families competing to win the book quiz! There was not even a spare seat for The Mad Hatter!
Well done to the joint winners who only dropped two marks each! World book day was a huge success and the staff and children have even started to discuss the theme for next year!
