Last Tuesday we held a reading café at St Matthew’s Primary school for children in Foundation Stage, Year 1 and Year 2. The parents relaxed and enjoyed their coffee and croissant whilst joining their children for phonics activities. The children shared with parents their developing reading and writing skills by using the resources, activities and games. As you can see from the photographs it was a fantastic morning and the children worked really hard!!
