We had a wonderful time visiting London last Wednesday- some of us had not been on the Underground before!
The Van Gogh exhibition at the Tate was wonderful and the children discussed about the paintings with great knowledge.
The walk to the Houses of Parliament, where we had lunch in a park, gave the children the opportunity to spot famous landmarks such as the London Eye!
To finish off our visit we then went on a hop on/ hop off tour around all of the major landmarks which gave the children more opportunities to spot the landmarks they had learnt about back at school.
I would like to thank the children for their excellent behaviour on the trip – I think that by the end of the day, the adults were more exhausted than the children on the train journey home!
