We were all so disappointed that we were unable to hold our Easter service in church this year, but with a couple of coronavirus cases within our school community it felt sensible to remain at school in our class bubbles and avoid congregating together.

The children had all worked so hard preparing their pieces for the service so as we have done in previous years we reverted to holding a virtual service in our classrooms.

In addition to singing some uplifting Easter Songs together, The Navigators beautifully recited an Easter Poem (all learning their lines brilliantly), the Huckleberries sang a lovely version of ‘Old MacDonald’s Easter Farm’, and the Innovators told the Easter story through a drama entitled ‘Hot Cross Buns and Easter Eggs.’

We were delighted to be joined over Zoom by Dr. Jones, and owe a great deal of thanks to The Potting Shed for stepping in at the last minute to help facilitate the online event.
