Children across the school have been really creative to mark the start of advent and the build up to Christmas.
We’ve made our advent wreath for St. Laurence church incorporating 4 coloured candles for the 4 weeks of advent, with the central white candle ready to be lit to mark Christs’ birth on Christmas day.
Children are now working on a scene from the Christmas story to be placed in the entrance porch at the church.
We were also delighted to create decorations and decorate a Christmas Tree in St. Mary Magdalene Parish Church – Newark on behalf of Larkin and Co. for the annual Christmas tree festival. The trees will be on display and can be viewed up until the 12th of December.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…
