In the summer term, pupils in years 5 and 6 across the Kite Primary Federation completed their DARE 25 programme, delivered through Lifeskills Education.

The skills-based prevention programme engaged pupils in interactive activities to give them the opportunity to learn and practice a range of personal and social skills.  Weekly sessions covered alcohol, tobacco and substance awareness; along with issues including cyber bullying and hate crime.

The programme, which is recognised by Public Health England, builds on our PSHE curriculum and is designed to equip young people with a range of knowledge and skills which they can use to make the right choices as they transition to secondary school and beyond.
