Dear Parents and Carers,
As a part of our summer term sporting activities we are looking forward to joining with the children from St. Matthew’s to refine our cricket skills!
The Year 3 and 4 children from both schools will be working with a cricket coach every Monday afternoon. This will be a fabulous opportunity for the children to strengthen their friendships and to work in a larger peer group as well as receive good quality coaching. This is also a chance for the children to join together to form a competitive team ready for the inter school cricket competition later in the summer term.
The coaching will take place at St. Matthew’s and we have arranged a minibus to transport the children to Normanton and they will be accompanied by one of our teaching assistants. This will take place within the school day and children will be back in school for collection at the end of the day.
Can you please return the permission slip below to school by Thursday 2nd April. Your child will need their P.E kit in school every Monday across the term and a water bottle.
