Class 3, who have been learning all about space exploration, took a crash course as trainee astronauts led by Captain Darling of the Academy of Space. Having experienced a multi-sensory simulated journey to Mars and avoided numerous disasters along the way, they now know just what would happen if they took off their space helmets or found themselves in the middle of a meteor shower!
They also made robotic arms and some are considering adaptations to the initial design.
Since their adventure the children have been busily writing using their experience for inspiration.
