The Kite Primary Federation – A Nottinghamshire small schools federation

Thank you for your interest in our two schools. We are two small, successful, church schools within easy reach of Newark and the surrounding area. The rural Nottinghamshire setting provides both schools with fabulous and spacious sites that are the perfect place for our children to learn together and develop long lasting friendships. Norwell C of E Primary and St. Matthew’s C of E Primary collaborate as a part of The Kite Primary Federation.

All children are taught in mixed aged classes by our teaching and support staff who work as an effective team to offer a full and varied curriculum. The children who attend our schools not only have the opportunity to cover the full National Curriculum in a caring, Christian environment, but also learn to play a musical instrument, receive specialist sports coaching and take part in a range of extra curricular activities.
