Our Reception and Year 1/2 opened for visitors this morning. Parents joined their children for a chance to see how they learn in our lovely EYFS/KS1 area. Miss Lower and Miss Archer led phonics, maths and writing sessions so that the parents could see their children at work. Everyone was so impressed at how hard the children work and the parents had to concentrate to keep up! Our Head Teacher’s Assistants helped out and they were also impressed with the activities on offer to the children.
Afterwards Finn (Y5) declared that “..it was brilliant, everyone was really working but it was so much fun.”
Thank you to all of the parents who took the time to share their child’s school experience and offer their support to our work in school. It was a fabulous morning and we loved having you with us in school.
