Our children joined with other Church of England primary schools in our diocese to celebrate Ascension day. It was a time of reflection and prayer. Upper Key Stage two children from Norwell came to St Matthews Church where we had a lovely ascension day service led by Greg, our vicar. Some of the children read their prayers in church. What thoughtful prayers they wrote! The pre-school children from Norwell met with St Matthews pre-schoolers for the first time. A lovely opportunity to make new friends!
